Our Founder and CEO, Ellen Gunning was invited to the White House, by the President of the United States of America, to be present for the traditional presentation of the shamrock by Irish Taoiseach, Micheál Martin. What an occasion!
What an occasion. So thrilled to be there and such attention to detail. Pipers playing traditional Irish tunes outside to welcome us as we arrived. The armed forces band playing beautifully as we entered the building and a selection of the most delicious Irish finger food.
The entire east wing was open to guests who wandered freely beneath portraits of all of the great American Presidents and first ladies. What an occasion!
